Photographer Bio

One of my favorite Scripture quotes is from Romans 1:20 - "For since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen..." I hope that my photographs will capture His essence in a way that brings Him honor and glory... I grew up in New England, where the variety of moods and light that each new season brings is a reflection, in nature, of our own ever-changing lives, and is also a reflection of the vastness of God's creative abilities. I love to capture a moment that will never again be repeated, so that one can revisit it at will...Whether it's a new-born baby, a landscape at a certain time of day, a city at night, or an event, I enjoy creating images that will delight the viewer. My experience as a photographer began many years ago at a small community news paper, photographing events and special assignments, under the mentoring of a very gifted photographer, and dear friend, by the name of Tom Santiago. His encouragement and example helped me to see people, places, and events from a unique "photo-journalistic" perspective. Tom passed away several years ago, but I would like to think that there's a little bit of him in every photo I take. Presently, I reside on the west coast, where I photograph nature, architecture, and special events, as well as do free-lance work for websites, and business promotional materials.
